I am from Manjoor, a small village in Kottayam District in Kerala. I did my schooling at N.S.S High School, Manjoor and Pre-degree from Devamatha College, Kuravilangad. Both my parents were teachers and they are retired now. My father worked in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for 10 years. I did my B.Tech Degree from Regional Engineering College, Kozhikode. I belong to the 1984 batch. After the college, I joined Carborundum Universal Ltd., and worked in their Koratty Plant (Trichur Dist., Kerala) for five years. In 1989, I joined ONGC. Till January 2001, I had been working in the Engineering & Construction division of ONGC in Mumbai. From February 2001 to June 2002, I worked with British Petroleum, at Ulsan, in South Korea. Now I am back with ONGC and is presently heading the Quality Assurance Department of ONGC's Assam Asset. I am also pursuing my masters in Quality Management from BITS Pilani Experience: Offshore Oil & Gas Project Management & Quality Assurance Other Interests: Programming in C Language.
